If you know the notes of G Ionian (Major), you can play the modes below, which use the exact same notes.
What's more, if you know the Ionian pattern, you can play the Ionian mode in any key. Just play the pattern starting on your chosen starting note (root note).
In order to play and jam in all 7 of the main modes, you only need to learn 7 patterns.
These patterns always appear in the exact same order across the fretboard, regardless of the starting note or mode.
